Phoenix Fashion Week 2013

Standard

Last night I attended Phoenix Fashion Week.  You can never go wrong celebrating an evening with fashion and friends.  There was an array of beautiful looks by outstanding designers.  Here is a rundown of my personal favorites.

I was first captivated by the designs of Silvia Bours.  With a Phantom of the Opera theme (masks included) it was indeed a beautiful collection.

I was enthralled by the glamorous looks of Doux Belle, by Rachel Wagner, who reminded us of a time when people took the term “getting dressed” seriously.  The chicness doesn’t stop with her collection either.  If there was a “best dressed” designer of the night my vote would go to Rachel who wore a black long-sleeved flowing dress tied at the waist.

The designs of Michelle Hébert caught my full attention.  I’d been looking forward to seeing this collection for the first time, but was not expecting what came down the runway.  Michelle’s looks were amazing, and as an emerging designer I can only imagine where her talent will take her.

The looks of Trang Nguyen changed the direction of the evening with delicate touches incorporating red, white, and flower appeal.

The epic moment of the night was the grand finale by Rocky Gathercole.  I’ve never heard of this designer before and now I can’t stop thinking about the magic he constructs.

As if that wasn’t enough goodness there was a post Rocky Gathercole still showcased finale, which was my favorite part of the event.
