Urban Decay recently dropped a new smoky palette now available for customers in stores and online.  On Saturday I picked mine up at Ulta where Urban Decay representatives were hard at work painting beautiful canvases.  As a diehard fan of the original Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palette I was hesitant to jump on the new smoky bandwagon. However, after almost a week of use, the fun in creating looks from the new palette has become one of the most exciting parts of the day.

The new Urban Decay Naked Smoky Eyeshadow Palette consists of twelve shades.  (9 new, and 3 old favorites).  The textures range from sparkle, to satin, to matte, and the color options are perfection.  (I’m loving Smolder right now).  The packaging is straight out of a hookah lounge and inside you will find step by step instruction on how to achieve different looks.  Today I worked the everyday smoky as designed by the Urban Decay make up artists, but have also enjoyed coming up with my own custom color combinations.

Besides the eyeshadow it’s my opinion the new Urban Decay Smoky Eyeshadow Palette also comes with the best brush. It’s a double sided set up with a fluffy end that gets under the orbital bone, and a smudger end that creates the effect everyone is always trying so hard to achieve.

I’ve been pairing my palette with Urban Decay Perversion Mascara and Urban Decay Naked Lipgloss.  The mascara has a great black pigmentation with a wand that’s like a feather duster for you eyelashes.  The lipgloss is no stick and glides on with a nice smooth fragrance free shine.

Although the cost of the palette ($54.00) may be a little pricy for some shoppers I would highly recommended the investment.  The colors, quality, wear, and overall look potential is another level, not to mention the compliments you will receive for looking like a smoked out goddess.
